Christmas Photos

Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas!! It was a very special one for us with Danielle. Here are some photos of our cutie. Have a safe & happy New Year!!

In the first picture she's having fun with G.ma K and her hats... next year it will be her shoes. :)
The second one is of Miss Danielle in her cute little Christmas outfit.
The next one she's enjoying the toy she got last year from G.pa & G.ma DeRemer. (that's the first toy she got.)
Aunt Ashleigh is reading one of her new books to her.
The following one she's learning to like the Jonny Jump Up!! (We just started putting her in it tonight... once she figures it out she'll LOVE it.)
And finally playing with one of her new toys!!

So many new things all at once!!

As you can see with all these little movie clips, we can't get enough of our little punky Danielle. Hope you are enjoying them as much as we do.

These past couple weeks have been quite eventful. Danielle cut her first 2, yes TWO teeth on her 4 month b.day!! (She doesn't bite yet, but I'm just waiting for the day...:) We've been feeding her a little bit of cereal in the evening which she is enjoying more and more each day. She just started rolling over (as you can see in the video) and she's really starting to grab at things when she's playing on the floor or when we're holding her. She has yet to grab her toes, but I know it will be coming here in the next week or so. She is going to be getting into so much mischief before we know it. :)

Hope you're all enjoying the holiday season.

Cheers.

Danielle Rolls Over

This was just on Monday. She's done it several times, but still hasn't quite mastered it and can only go to her right.

Punky, Meet Skipper!

Punky loves the cats. As you can see, our new cat Skipper is a bit of a trooper when it comes to letting Danielle grab, paw and poke at him.

Punky Cam: Exosaucer

This is Danielle hanging out in her exosaucer. A few smiles and giggles for you to watch... This was a couple weeks ago, sorry for the delay in posting.

Cereal & Danielle's Best Friend Sammie

We started giving Danielle cereal in the evenings and she seems to like it. (More on her face than anything :)

Sweet baby Danielle. Her favorite thing is to be rocked and sung to. I'm really going to miss this when she gets older and wants nothing to do with me. :) For the time being, I'll embrace it!!

Danielle's best friend Sammie, who's exactly a month younger, are trying to hold hands. One day soon these sweet little angels will be tearing things up... no 'pun' intended.

Christmas Tree Pickin'

Ashleigh and Todd came up for a visit. We went hunting for the perfect Christmas tree and found a nice Noble fir. It's all lit up and decorated along with the rest of the house. Todd and Ashleigh were deciding which tree to pick.
Danielle in her beloved Bumbo playing with toys. Her pinchers reflex is in full force.

How can a chain of rings be so fun to play with that you fall asleep while playing with them. :)

November Wonderland

Here's a couple photos of our house after the foot or more of snow that fell.

Snowy trees, so peaceful...

Bundled up ready to go for a walk in the snow (didn't last long... she's just like her mommy and doesn't like to be cold :-)
So much for pacifiers, she's found her thumb. It's cute now, but we fear it will be a nightmare when she gets older. A stare down, Skipper loves to play with her while she's in the exosaucer
Somewhat liking her tummy time. We're practicing for her 'roll over' debut
I'm so ready for this snow to melt. We've been holed up in our house for almost a week now. (Except for the trip to Michael's and FM with Shay and Thad- thanks for letting me tag along.) Although, I've managed to set up all my Christmas decorations, all we need is our tree.
Danielle turned 4 months on the 28th. She's such a happy baby. She's learning her voice more and more every day and she's able to sooth herself and almost put herself to sleep for naps and at night. We're going to start cereal in a couple of weeks.
Hope everyone is surviving the November freezefest!! ~K

Winter Wonderland

This was yesterday when there was about 6 inches of snow. Now there is over a foot... and it's down to 18 degrees. What the heck is going on up here in BHam?

Happy Thanksgiving!!

We hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving. Here are some photos of Danielle's first turkey day. We were also treated to our first snow fall Saturday morning. About 1/2 inch fell and should be expecting more in the days ahead.

Taken from our front porch.

Daddy & Danielle went for a walk before dinner... boy were they pooped.

Danielle had a hard time deciding what to have for dinner. :-)

Checking out Grandma Kyla's exosaucer. Each g.ma has one... she loves the variety.

Little Miss Danielle

This is what happens when the cat gets ahold of the remote...

Danielle & Daddy watching the Apple Cup. It was a tiring (and frustrating) game to say the least.

This is what happens when Grant dresses Danielle (the jumper should be on the outside of the onsie NOT underneath!! :-)

Our little froggy LOVES her bathies more than ever!!

Danielle is 3 Months!!

As of Saturday (10/28) Danielle is 3 months!! This means no more 'witching hour' and a happy kiddo for the rest of our lives (right parents?!.. who am I kidding :)

We went to a baby Halloween party this weekend and as you can see they, Miss Kitty and Crush (from finding Nemo), had a great time.

Among the things Danielle is doing, this is my favorite so far!! It cracks me up every time she does it. And she thinks it's funny too.

Goin for a walk...

We dressed Danielle up in a halloween themed outfit yesterday and went to a local u-pick orchard where we got some apples and a pumpkin. Danielle enjoyed being in the "face out" position in the Bjorn carrier.

Fun in the BUMBO!!

Danielle is growing so much, she's 11 weeks today. She's such a happy happy girl...we've been blessed.

We had a really nice time on our trip to California but I am really kicking myself because we forgot our camera (SHUCKS!!)Danielle was great on the plane but wouldn't really let anyone but mommy or daddy hold her throughout the trip because we were on the move so much. Our next trip we'll take our time.

Danielle LOVES her baths and we like them as well because it calms her during her 'witching' hour.

We bought this neat seat called a BUMBO. I put her in it on the counter when I'm making dinner. At first the verdict was still out but now she seems to enjoy it.

We have some exciting news... Danielle is expecting another cousin in June. Yep, my sister Kim is pregnant!! We are so happy for them.

If the Seahawks Lose I'm Gonna Scream!!

Well, it Sunday, and that means the Seahawks are playing. Some evil person told Danielle that the Bears were going to win so that made her angry...

Danielle had her 2 month checkup this week, and she got 5 shots also! She has been really great and tolerated them quite well. Danielle is now 23 1/2 inches long and 14.5 lbs! She's in the 100th percentile in both categories, which the doctor tells us is ok since she height weight proportional. Hard to say how she's getting so big so fast on only mama's milk...

We are enjoying our days with the cute little munchkin, and continue to be blessed that she sleeps through the night. Lately she's been sleeping from about 10pm until 6 am straight through.

Cheers! -g
