No more crib.

Last weekend we decided to take Danielle's crib down. We don't have a proper bed for her yet but we are using the crib mattress so she gets use to the idea of sleeping on a bed. She absolutely LOVES it!! We spend a lot of time in there now and she is a great sleeper!!

Danielle "calling" Avery to tell her the news about her big girl bed!

Pony likes her big girl bed too :)

Last Sunny days of Summer

Here are some fun photos of us enjoying the last sunny days in September. It's time to put the pool away and gear up for sweaters and rain boots for puddle jumping!!

Kim and the girls came up for a visit. Since the sprinklers were turned off for the season at Fairhaven Park we decided to make our own water park. This was Kim's geniuss idea. The girls LOVED IT!!

Danielle and Avery having fun going down the water slide with their ponys

Ready set GO!! And don't forget pony too!!

Shay and I have started walking the block every day (or at least we try). Danielle LOVES to see Shay and Hayden. They came over to play after our walk and Danielle let her wear her sun glasses... Hayden though it was so funny!

Recent Videos

I've been negligent posting videos lately so here's some recent ones, mostly from our trip to Montana.

This one is Danielle actually on the phone with cousin Avery. She takes the phone and struts around the house now acting cool like she's in charge, it's hilarious.

This one is on our Montana trip, Dad is playing peek a boo with Punky.

Here's Punky running down the trail while we were hiking. We were trying to keep her entertained any way we could to avoid having to carry her the whole way

Here's Danielle a couple weeks ago just playing on the neighbors swing set.

Trip to Big Sky Montana

We took a road trip to Big Sky Montana last week to visit Grandpa DeRemer. We left town on Friday 9/5 in the afternoon and decided to drive as far as possible. We ended up spending the night in Spokane. We got up early on Saturday to drive the rest of the way to Big Sky. One of our pit stops was Missoula, where we found this great park Danielle could play at to run off some energy. At the park there was this carousel Danielle and I went on. She was a little apprehensive at first but LOVED it after the ride started.

Danielle and I getting ready for the ride.

The ride was pretty fast....

Our monkey hanging around.

Danielle coming out of the slide. It was a really dark tunnel slide. She's quite the daredevil these days.

We arrived in Montana on Saturday afternoon. It was nice to finally get there and relax. Grandpa has this really nice condo over looking a golf course and a pond. There's a beaver home in the pond and every night we got to see the beavers come out. Danielle lived for seeing the beavers... everytime we would go out on the deck she would say "where the beabers go?"

One of the beavers.

Danielle looking for the beavers.

View from Grandpa's deck of Lone Peak Mt... it's better in person!

The next morning we took a hike to to a waterfall nearby. It was a nice hike and the waterfall was stunning, like most! Danielle had fun chasing grandpa and looking for wildlife. All we saw were birds, bugs, and grasshoppers. Oh, and the occasional dog on the trail.

The waterfall

The happy family at the top!! Danielle had to have her pony with her the entire trip.

Danielle chasing Grandpa down the trail. She LOVED spending time with him. She keeps asking about him.

While grandpa and daddy played golf, Danielle and I had fun exploring the Mountain, playing at the playground and looking for wildlife and the beaver.

Playing with her best bud, pony!

Playing peek a boo with momma.

Monkey climber... all by herself.

Wheeee!!

Wheee for pony too!

Sliding down with daddy & grandpa. Let's just say it was only fun for Danielle and pony. :)

We took a day trip to Yellowstone, which is about 45 miles from Big Sky. We had a nice trip. We didn't see much, only buffalo and elk. It was a little too much driving for Danielle but we made the most of it.

Our first sighting of buffalo. This was a lone buffalo who probably got kicked out of a herd.

One of our first sightings of a buffalo herd. Danielle kept calling them cows.

Daddy and Danielle watching the buffalo crossing the river.

The fam in front of Yellowstone waterfall... it's a remake of one of our Christmas cards.

Up close and personal with a baby elk.

A pack of elk. 3 mother and 3 babies. It was really neat to watch them interact with each other.

Trying to catch a rainbow on the way home from Yellowstone.

Having breakfast with Grandpa before we left town.

Thank you again Grandpa for a wonderful trip. We had a great time and we can't wait to see you again soon!!!

Daddy's T-shirt

The other night Danielle thought it would be funny to wear Daddy's t-shirt instead of jammies. Here she is running around the house and playing ball with daddy!

Like my shirt momma.

This is how she would pull up the sleves.

Can I wear the shirt to bed momma?

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SAMMIE!!

Danielle's best friend Sammie turned two last week!! Welcome to the TWO's little one!! She threw a awesome Curious George party and we had so much fun!! They rented a jump-a-roo castle the kids got to play in. Although, I think Danielle enjoyed trying on every ones shoes instead. :) Here's some photos of all the fun we had.

Best buds jumping around!!
