Carving Pumpkins

On Monday we carved our pumpkin we picked at the pumpkin patch. Last year Danielle didn't want anything to do with the "guts" and this year she was really into helping us get the "peanuts" out. We baked the seeds, which was a yummy snack. And had fun creating our pumpkin JACK!

It was hard work getting his top off.

Crescent Bar

We just got home from a lovely trip to Crescent Bar with Kim and her family. It was a beautiful drive with all the fall colors in bloom as well as some great family time. We stayed in a condo overlooking the river and golf course. The weather was decent, it only rained at night, which allowed us to play outside during the day. Thanks Kim and Joe for inviting us. We can't wait to do it again.

The girls wanted to play in the kiddy pool, which was really cold. They would run from the kiddy pool to the hot tub to warm up.

Ready... set... JUMP!

Danielle is trying to get use to the temp change.

On Saturday morning Grant and I hiked up the cliff that looks out over Crescent Bar. It was a hike but was very rewarding at the end!

Half way up. Looking back and Kim and the girls.

We DID it, we DID it, we DID it, HORRAY!!

Pumpkin Picking!

Last weekend we took our annual trip out to Stoney Ridge Farms with Shay Thad and Hayden. We had a great time as always and the weather couldn't have been more beautiful!

Daddy and D taking it all in!

Our punky in pumpkins... that's how she got her nickname "punky"

We went to see the animals first. Looks like D is having a conversation with the pony.

Then we went on the train. She said she didn't want Mom or Dad to go on it with her so here's her brave face.

And this is her at the end of the ride. She smiled from ear to ear the entire time. What a proud moment for momma. :)

Shay and I balancing the girls on pumpkins. It wasn't easy.

D found her perfect pumpkin.

Friends.

BOO! I found you in the corn maze!
