December Fun!!

I can't believe Christmas is in 15 days!! We've been keeping very busy. We had a special guest, my cousin Amanda, visiting from England for 10 days. We had tons of fun visiting & exploring things around town.

We got our Christmas tree yesterday with the Greenwoods. We headed out to Stoney Ridge Farm out in Ferndale to get the tree. We picked the perfect tree & had fun decorating it as well as the house... more pictures to come. Hope everyone is enjoying the holiday season.

While Amanda was visiting, we treked down to the Seattle Aquarium with Avery & Aunty Kim. Danielle enjoyed running and running and running, while the rest of us enjoyed seeing all the different fish & aquatic animals. I think our favorite was the sea otters.

We found a new place to play in B'ham, The Childrens Museum!! Danielle's favorite thing at the museum was running up and down the docks. It was so funny because she didn't care about anything else but running up and down them.

Miss Dani is getting funnier & funnier and cuter & cuter. She'll be 16 months at the end of the month and is VERY busy!! She's saying about 40+ words and is repeating what we say all the time. She lets us know when she doesn't agree with us and isn't afraid to explore things she's not really supposed to get into. She is always on the go go go and it's usually in the opposite direction! :)

Trick or Treat!

Halloween this year was so much fun. As you can see Danielle was a Love Bug. We had dinner and went trick or treating over at the Crovo's. Sammie and Danielle had fun going door to door to get candy. At first they were a bit timid, but after a couple houses they caught on real quickly. Here are some pictures of the fun we had!! Hope everyone had a great Halloween.

We made the most of the costume by wearing it all day. We spent much of the day outside riding in the wagon to the store and playing in the yard.

Halloween Party at Play Group

We had a Halloween Party at our one year old class this week. As you can see most of the kiddos dressed up. We had lots of fun playing with scarves, painting pictures with sponges, and feeling (or eating) seeds from a pumpkin. :) Here are a couple pictures of our friends.

Carving Pumpkins

Tonight we carved our family pumpkin. Danielle didn't really want anything to do with it, but Grant and I had fun carving. Danielle ran around the house eating a couple peices of candy corn. We bought one of those carving booklets this year and found a fun & easy pattern. Hope everyone has a fun & safe Halloween. We're taking Danielle out trick or treating around the neighborhood.

Birthday Dinner!

So I've started a tradition and it's a Birthday Week. You celebrate your birthday 3 days before and 3 days after the real day. I thought it was fitting since this year I turned the BIG 3-0!! To end my week long celebration, we went out for dinner and drinks last night. Thanks to everyone who came out to help me welcome my 30's with a SMILE and cocktails to say the least!

Celebrating in VEGAS

My mom, Kim and I went to Vegas last week to celebrate my 30th birthday and my moms 60th! We stayed at Treasure Island and had a very nice room. Kim and I were very lucky... winning at the lucky 7 slots and the black jack tables. My mom, not so much she left it all in Vegas. We took in our first Cirque show, Mystere, got toe rings, went shopping, ate great food (except for the TI buffet :), and had plenty of cocktails & laughs. This was the first time Kim & I have left our girls for more than a day. It was a nice getaway for us and the girls had fun with their daddy's. Grant was great at keeping up with Danielle. He even took her to our one year old class. Here's just a preview of the fun we had.
