Fathers Day Weekend!

We had a great Father's day weekend! On Saturday we drove down to NW Trek, which is in Eatonville. NW Trek is a a zoo that has almost every animal in the NW. Most of which have been hurt in the wild and can't survive on their own. We met my side of the family there. There's this tram we took right when we arrived that took us through 462 acres of land that's home to many of the herbivors. We saw every animal we could see, deer, elk, bison, mooose (all 5!), big horn sheep, mt. goats, swans, lots of them! It was a great day to go because it was the first rainy/cloudy day we have had in the past two weeks, which allowed all the animals to be in plain site.

The 1st moose we saw. It was hanging out right by the tram gates minding her own business.

Bubba and Dad enjoying the tram ride.

Natale, Kimmy, and GG checking for animals.

One lonely mt. goat on a stump!

This beaver was hilarous! It would swim around, do tricks and come right to the window and pause for a snap then swim off again. The girls thought it was so funny!!

The Grizzly! He was sound asleep but when we came over he woke up for a bit of a photo shoot, then laid back down to rest again. Amazing creature.

Being lazy is so tiring!

Ring around the rosey...

That stump is really old! And Avery's too cute!

Our fam.

The barn owl.

The "BIG kitties" as Danielle called them. These "kitty's" hold a special place in my heart since they are the mascot of the best school in the state... GO COUGS!!

After we explored the zoo we went out for an early dinner then headed to Nana's house to spend the night. We had a great time with Nana. Danielle helped her pick veggies from her garden. We decided to check out the Childrens Museum at the Seattle Center since Dad's got in free! It's a great museum, I hope our opens soon and is as good as the Seattle one.

THE BALL ROOM. Danielle trying to get the beach ball to lift in the air by pushing a button.

Ta da! She did it!

Wheeling the ball up the ramp to go through a maze.

The DeRemer's sitting in the 3 bears chairs... hope they don't mind.

Daddy and Danielle riding a bike through Japan.

Sushi anyone?!

Danielle off to grocery shop!

Checking all of her groceries. Some of the stuff actually scans, it was really neat.

Then it was off to the hardware store to build something... a table perhaps!

After we were done exploring the Childrens Museum, we headed outside to play in the fountain. The Live Strong Challenge was going on and there was tons of free things to do for the kids so we jumped right into the mix. A silly clown made Danielle a balloon butterfly, she got to jump in a jump house, slide down a BIG slide as well as go through an obsticle course which she mastered like 5 times.

Danielle with her butterfly ballon.

Wee, the BIG slide was fun!!
