Danielle and I took advantage of one of the first nice spring days! We went to Boulavard Park to enjoy the beautiful view, play on the toys, and most of all threw rocks in the water. We even saw a train go by. It was funny, because when we were at home later playing outside, we heard a train and she said "Momma, that's the train from the train park today!" She's so smart, but I'm biased! :)
Throwing rocks...
...and making a SPLASH is so much FUN!
Me and mini enjoying the sun, which was really bright!
Look ma, I climbed to this rock all by myself.
hmmm, what's this?
Eww, a slimey clam shell.
After naps we decided to go to the family swim, which is always a blast. Then came home to enjoy the weather... kicking the soccer ball around in her heels and relaxed while sipping cocktails and laughing!! It was a wonderful day spending it with my beautiful daughter!!
Having a 'ball' in her heels!
Kickin' your heels up!
Her beloved friend, Skippy.

Best Girls!
Kim and the girls came up to visit on Saturday. I drove Avery and Danielle and Kim followed behind me. It was pouring with rain. We were at a stop light and the girls were giggling. Avery said "Look auntie Krissy, we'll be OK because we have our rain hats!" I look back and this is what I see. So adorable... priceless actually. :o)
Independent One
Danielle has sure shown her independence lately. She is always in the kitchen helping mom or dad with dinner, stirring, cutting veggies, washing dishes, and setting the table. It's great to see she enjoys chores now. Let's hope this continues. :o)
Helping stir the spaghetti & making sure it tastes perfect!
The sue chef sampling tonights dinner.
Miss D setting the table.
The other night we were cuddling on our bed and Danielle took a hold of the camera. She is quite the photographer. Here are some of her shots.
Does this camera thing work?! (I think this shot is hilarous!)
Bad shot of momma. Every time she took a picture she would say "got it!" It was really cute & funny!
I think this one was her best shot, Handsome Daddy!!

Swim Lessons
Danielle has been taking swimming lessons for the past couple of weeks. She absolutely LOVES it!! It's only 30 minutes which isn't long enough for Danielle. She always wants to stay in the pool and keep playing. Every day she asks if she gets to go swimming. We hope to continue the lessons through the summer!
Danielle and daddy singing songs while learning how to swim.
Heading towards the shallow end where she can touch.
Dancing and splashing in the pool!
Kick.. kick.. kicking!!!

Random Silliness
I know it's been way too long since I've posted but here are a couple pics of Danielle doing silly things.
Danielle swinging in the cat toy.
Danielle and I had awesome girls day yesterday. We played at home in the morning in our jammies and her in her birthday suit, then headed to the open swim in the afternoon. I was changing bedding and came out to her dipping her apples in the peanut butter jar.
Miss D and her new favorite snack PEANUT BUTTER!!
Modeling for Grant and I. Singing "Fancy Nancy ~ Fancy Nancy"!! She's finally enjoying dress up!
I'm sure Danielle is thinking this would be a great toy for Skippy. She then started calling for him... "oh SKIPPPY?!"
Danielle just started swim lessons and absolutely LOVES it!! I will be posting some of those pictures real soon. Stay tuned...
