Drive up to Mt. Baker

We've lived in Bellingham for almost three years and have yet to make a trip up to Mt. Baker. We thought it would be fun to take a fall foliage drive up to Baker last Saturday. We couldn't have picked a more beautiful day!! Grant was excited to go because I mentioned stopping at the North Fork Brewery for beer and pizza on the way home. It was a perfect family day!!

The mountain shot on the way down. The road up to Heather Meadows is so STEEP!! It was a little intense there's no guard rail. I can't imagine what it's like in the winter with snow on the roads.
