Picking the PERFECT Pumpkin

Stoney Brook Farm is a neat farm in Everson. They have a pumpkin patch, apple orchard, corn maze, and all sorts of farm animals. The farm is so neat, we've been twice this week. The first few pictures are from our outing on Saturday with Grandma Kyla and the second batch is with our friends Megan and Ronan.

Fun Random Photos

Gosh, where does the time go... It's been way too long since we've updated the blog. Sorry time flies when you are having fun & chasing a toddler. Danielle is growing into such a beautiful & mischievous little girl! She responds to us (when she wants to) and is more in LOVE with the cats then she's ever been. She has mastered climbing up & getting down from the couch and is always getting into things she shouldn't be getting into, so much for buying her toys. I'm trying to teach her to help me with putting toys away at the end of the day but that might be a while longer. Dancing is her favorite past time and she makes it a point to go on a walk every day. Two if she's lucky enough. Next week we start our 1 year old class which we are so excited about!!

Trip to Sunnyside, WA

Tyler & his mom, Rachelle, invited Danielle, Ronan, Megan and I to spend the weekend at her moms house in Sunnyside, WA. Her family owns a huge orchard there.
We had such a great time. The weather was beautiful (high 80's) and we had plenty of things to keep us busy. We went walking through the orcard picking fruit (apples, peaches, and pears). The kids had so much fun running away from us & sampling the fruit. We had a great time splashing in the pool at her moms each day. It was a lovely (but short) trip, and we can't wait to go again next year!!

Sammie's 1st Birthday!!

Danielle's dearest friend Samantha turned ONE on August 28th. Just one month after Danielle did. She threw a fun party with lots of things to play with, like a sand box, a playhouse and even swings!! Danielle enjoyed running around the yard with a party sippy cup & helping Sammie play with her new toys!

Orcas Island FUN!

Sammie invited us to visit her Pops & Peaches on Orcas Island for a few days. Despite the crappy weather, we had a fun time. They have a deck that wraps around the house which the girls LOVED to run around. Their house sits on a cliff above the water. It was so peaceful & beautiful there.

Playing Dress Up

One of Danielle's favorite things to do these days is to help me fold her clothes. Once I get them all folded I attempt to put them in her drawers but if she's fast enough, which she always is, she pulls them right out and tries to put them on... so here's her prancing around the house is some of her favorite items. (She likes to grab our clothes too, but I thought I would spare you from seeing our undergarments. :)

Little Miss Sunshine!!

Our little Miss Sunshine is enjoying the sunny days and all her new toys she got for her birthday. We've been taking daily wagon rides around the block, which she LOVES. She is always wanting to be outside exploring the wonders of the world or eating leaves & rocks.

Punky Cam: Walking and Playing Ball.

This one was on here a week or so ago and we must have accidentally deleted it. So here it is again.

This was taken 2+ weeks ago now shortly after she started walking. She's already walking much faster and is very steady already. Glad we got a couple when it was new.
