We finally bought a house! We will be moving in next weekend, December 12th! Just in time for Christmas!
Here's a couple pictures of the house. It's a five bedroom home with LOTS of space and has a great back yard with swings and play house. We are looking forward to settling in and exploring our new neighborhood!!

Danielle Capturing Pictures!
Danielle LOVES to play with toys she isn't really suppose to, like cell phones and cameras. As she is getting older, she is learning to be very gentle with the camera and has actually taken some good pictures. Here's a couple I had to share.
One of our cats Bogey. I'm surprised she actually let Danielle get so close to her.
Her buddy Skippy. Up close and personal.
Beautiful little girl
"Say Cheese Momma!"
Skippy and Bogey are actually sharing the cat condo! That's a surprise and Danielle caught them sharing it!

Happy Halloween
We had a really fun Halloween this year. Danielle was so proud of her costume and wanted to wear it all day. We headed down to Fairhaven which was super crowded but we had a great time watching Danielle and seeing all the neat costumes. A couple of shopkeepers said she was a fairy and she would correct them by saying, "I'm not a fairy I'm a butterfly!!" It was so cute the way she said it. Hope everyone had a safe and fun Halloween!!!
Our butterfly and her jack o lantern.
So many treats to pick from.
The shop she decided to pass... she didn't like the masked costumes.
Silly Daddy!
A "firefly" by night. :)

Carving Pumpkins
On Monday we carved our pumpkin we picked at the pumpkin patch. Last year Danielle didn't want anything to do with the "guts" and this year she was really into helping us get the "peanuts" out. We baked the seeds, which was a yummy snack. And had fun creating our pumpkin JACK!
Our pumkin before.
It was hard work getting his top off.
Helping dad take out the pieces.

Crescent Bar
We just got home from a lovely trip to Crescent Bar with Kim and her family. It was a beautiful drive with all the fall colors in bloom as well as some great family time. We stayed in a condo overlooking the river and golf course. The weather was decent, it only rained at night, which allowed us to play outside during the day. Thanks Kim and Joe for inviting us. We can't wait to do it again.
Kimmy playing in the hot tub with her girls.
The girls wanted to play in the kiddy pool, which was really cold. They would run from the kiddy pool to the hot tub to warm up.
Ready... set... JUMP!
Danielle is trying to get use to the temp change.

On Saturday morning Grant and I hiked up the cliff that looks out over Crescent Bar. It was a hike but was very rewarding at the end!
Half way up. Looking back and Kim and the girls.
We DID it, we DID it, we DID it, HORRAY!!

Pumpkin Picking!
Last weekend we took our annual trip out to Stoney Ridge Farms with Shay Thad and Hayden. We had a great time as always and the weather couldn't have been more beautiful!
Daddy and D taking it all in!
Our punky in pumpkins... that's how she got her nickname "punky"
We went to see the animals first. Looks like D is having a conversation with the pony.
Then we went on the train. She said she didn't want Mom or Dad to go on it with her so here's her brave face.
And this is her at the end of the ride. She smiled from ear to ear the entire time. What a proud moment for momma. :)
Shay and I balancing the girls on pumpkins. It wasn't easy.
D found her perfect pumpkin.
Friends.
BOO! I found you in the corn maze!
Punky climbing the pumpkin tree.
Happiness!

Grandpa DeRemers' Visit
We had a very special guest visit for a couple of days last week. Grandpa DeRemer flew up to spend some time with us and boy did we have fun! Danielle LOVED playing with him and we enjoyed catching up. We went to the Galeto festival, went beach combing in Birch Bay, and took a beautiful drive up to Mt. Baker where we went to the very top to artist point, breath taking is all I can say. It was so great to have him visit so he could see how grown up Miss Punky is and to spend time with us.
We love you Gpa and can't wait to see you again soon!
Danielle wasn't too sure of her galeto creation.
The silly icecream creature.
Danielle enjoying it now. :)
Gpa, Danielle and Daddy on the beach, contemplating whether to walk out to the water.
Checking for treasures.
Daddy found quite a treasure!
Shadows on the beach!
Ending a fun beach day with ICECREAM!
Mt Shucksen on our journey up Baker.
Us at the lake. We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful day!
Danielle checking out the flowers on our nature walk.
Two handsome fellas and one beautiful view!
Danielle searching for mountain goats on the Mt.
After checking out Heather Meadows, we followed the switch back road up to Artist Point and it was so breathtaking. I have never been up there and I blown away at how amazing it was up there. We felt like we were on top of the world! I'm so blessed we live in one of the most beautiful areas!! We had so much fun following the trails to different view points. It was an amazing day!
Stunning Mt. Baker!
I couldn't even begin to capture the beauty but I sure tried. :)
