Here's Danielle's early foray into the swimming pool. She's already fearlessly jumping into the water.

Sunnyside Trip
Rachelle and Tyler invited Danielle, Ronan, Megan and I to her mom's house for a fun filled week of swimming, picking fruit in the orchards, playing and of course relaxing, well somewhat! Here's just a glimpse of the fun we had. Thanks again Rachelle for inviting us.
The kiddos playing the piano... can you tell who likes the camera?!
Enjoying Popsicles after dinner on the swing.
Danielle & Tyler picking apples!
Tyler enjoying one of the apples he picked.
Danielle helping momma pick some nectarines
Danielle & Ronan enjoying a quiet moment watching the big Koi fish swim in the pond. The pond was at Marla's house. (Rachelle's aunt who lives on the orchard.)
We took a road trip down to Processor to visit Rachelle's friend, Monica. We were in wine country and stopped by some wineries. I was the only one who could taste so we didn't stay long. We decided to go to Maylie's house to have lunch and play for a while. The kids had a great time 'sharing toys' and playing with each other.
The kids, Ronan, Danielle (not pictured), Maylie, and Tyler having cheese burgers and fries at Maylie's house.
Yummy fries!!
The best part by far was the pool at Oma's house. The weather was great the day we arrived and the day we left. But we managed to get in the pool on our last day! Danielle had so much fun. She kept jumping in the pool and swam with me around the pool. She was like a fish in the water.
Having fun with the water gun on the steps of the pool with Tylers friend, Alyssa.
Jumping in the pool!!
1, 2, 3 JUMP!! She LOVED the pool. This definitely tells me we need to do swimming lessons.

Lynden Fair
On Tuesday we met some friends at the Lynden Fair. It's a nice fair but is probably half the size of the Pyuallup Fair. We made our way through all the animal shelters. The best by far was the dairy cows. There were two baby calfs and one of them was born just one hour before we got there! It was so neat to see her. We went on rides, played on tractors and ate fair food. It was a fun filled day!!
The baby calf who was born an hour prior to our arrival. It was a GIRL!
Voilet, Tyler, and Danielle checking out the other calf who was born the night before. It's kind of sad they seperate them from there mothers so early.
These cows were kissing right before I snapped the photo. Sure are pretty!!
Isn't she a great model?
Ahh the 'pig' life!!!
Tyler and Voilet chauffering Danielle & I around.
Around the carasol we go.
Kelli & her girls Voilet & Adaline.

Ballerina
GG gave Danielle a ballerina costume/outfit for her birthday. She's really getting into dressing up and I always find her with the 'fairy wand'. GG also got her these jelly shoes this past weekend while she was visiting and she won't take them off. Thanks GG!!

Special Visitor
Gosh, where has the summer gone. I can't believe September is on the horizon already. **Sorry for the late delays on postings.**
We were so lucky to have my cousin, Amanda, come all the way from England to visit us for a week in late July. We had such a fun time with her. Amanda, Danielle and I took an overnight trip up to Vancouver. OUr hotel was right on English Bay and the south end of Stanley park. We took a long walk through the park and stopped by the Aquarium. We were lucky enough to see the baby baluga. Danielle LOVED seeing all the fish. It's an amazing place!!
Momma & baby
The baby Baluga.
Checking out the tree frogs.
We saw turtles...
...paranas (ranas as Danielle would say!...
and so many types of jelly fish!!
Having cocktails at a restaurant near English Bay!!
Danielle LOVES "cocktails"! Amanda taught her to say "cheers" and toast her cocktail.
Amanda, Kim and I took a girls camping trip while she was here. We decided to go to Birch Bay State Park. It was nice the day we arrived. We played on the beach, roasted hot dogs on the fire and had smores in honor of Danielle's real birthday. The rain clouds came in, which was our wake up call the next morning so we packed up camp quickly and was home by 930AM! Despite the rain, we had a great time and lots of laughs.
Avery & Danielle gobbling up blueberries while camping.
Amanda & Natale... eating melon.
Tyler, being the gentlemen that he is, escorting the girls around in the wagon. We forgot a couple of things so I called my friend Rachelle who lives in Birch Bay and she came to the rescue. :)
Tyler & Danielle around the campfire.
Morning giggles from the girls...
On Amanda's last day here, I took her to Seattle and went on the ride the duck tour. If you have the chance, it's SO worth it. We had a great driver & learned a lot of interesting fact about Seattle... our city is the most literate and we have the most library cards in the US!!!
RIDE THE DUCK IS AWESOME!!
The sleepless in Seattle house!!
Good ol' Seattle!! (look at all those cranes!)
Silly Tourists... talking about the kid in the back. :)
The happy family (minus Grant... he was working)
Amanda & Danielle
Cheers to you Amanda!! May the trip you are on be filled with lots of happiness and many lasting memories. We miss you so much already!!
