Swimming lessons

I signed Danielle up for swimming lessons at the end of summer at an outdoor private pool that opens to the public in the summer. It was the last session and it was only for 1 week. She absolutely LOVED it and she has so much confidence in the water now. She even puts her head under water while swiming. We are so proud of her!

Waiting on the steps for her turn.

Isabelle's Firsts

Isabelle is adjusting well these days! She's already 6 weeks old, time sure does fly. She wasn't a happy camper in the beginning but now she's all smiles and is cooing! She's so precious and we love her so much!! Here are some "firsts" for Miss Izzy. Enjoy!

Sisterly LOVE!

First tummy time experience.

First bath at home... it looks like she doesn't like it, but she LOVES them now!!

Ok, it's not so bad after all. In fact I think it's her favorite part of the day other than eating! :)

First Smile, well it's a dreamy smile.

First camping trip at 5 weeks!! Pretty impressive!

The grandma's and great grandma's with the babies.

Her adorable smirk! She smiled at me but I didn't catch it in time.

Our first walk in the stroller... looks like someone might be a bit big for the stroller?! But Danielle loves her walks!!

My little cupcake! The fuzzy hat barley fits her. this hat fit Danielle at 8 weeks. Guess Danielle has a big noggin! :)

Danielle's 4th Birthday!!

Our little Miss Punky isn't so little anymore, she turned 4- 14 days after her baby Isabelle joined our family. She had such a great birthday with family and friends. Even though it rained at her party, the kiddos still had a blast! Danielle is now asking when she turns 5 so she can have a birthday again. I guess her 4th birthday was pretty special. :)

Danielle all ready for camp with her birthday shirt on!!

On our way to Red Robin for dinner with our famous family Birthday Hat & the fancy shoes of course!

The girls

This is her the next day, properly riding her bike with shoes & a helmet. :)
We had her birthday party the Saturday following her birthday. Lots of kiddos came over for pool & trampoline fun!

Introducing Isabelle Kate DeRemer

Isabelle Kate was born on July 14, 2010 at 7:31am, weighing in at 8 lbs 12 oz!! She came out kicking and screaming! The labor was a short 6 hours and the experience was so much more "enjoyable" than Danielle's. We are settling in well as a family and she is adjusting to her new environment. Each day is better than the last. Big sis Danielle is so proud and is very helpful with anything that has to do with Izzie except for when she cries of course!

Very Proud Big sis finally holding her sister. She has waited for this moment for a L-O-N-G time!
Right after this photo was taken Isabelle started screaming and scared the day lights out of Danielle. So in the following pictures you will see Danielle is a bit hesitant to hold her sis.

Bathy time.

Not a fan of her first bath. :)

All cozy after her sponge bath.

Momma & Isabelle

Izzie brought her big sis some new dinosaurs and Danielle thought that was really cool & so nice!!

Nana was one very special lady. Isabelle gave her a preview of her eyes... she's been very shy about opening them. :)

Proud Daddy & Nana!

Counting her toes... making sure they are all there.

Me and my little ladies!!

She's pondering life already....

Finally home sweet home!!

She found her thumb just like her big sis did.

Cuddle time with my girls before bed.

Happy Fathers Day!

Hope everyone had a great Fathers Day!! We have had a nice relaxing day. We started by sleeping in and it was SO nice!!!!! Danielle and I made Daddy breakfast, gave him his gifts, she made him a "Date with Danielle" certificate, good for dinner & a movie or something fun. Then we took a little trip up to the beach in Birch Bay to find treasures. Unfortunately the tide was coming in shortly after we got there so the beach combing was cut short. We captured some fun pictures of our adventure...

Danielle running through the tide pools.

Daddy & his "Punky-ram-o-vich"!

One of our treasures...

...Danielle was a little apprehensive about touching the baby crabs. Which is really surprising since she'll touch any kind of bug. :)

Our little family of 3... soon to change to family of 4 real soon!!

Me & my Punky pie!

Now it's off to BBQ in the rain- of course!

Lobster Fest 2010

Every Memorial Day weekend we have a Lobster Fest and we learn something new each year. Last year was not to get the big ones and this year was not to serve side dishes with the lobster because you're stuffed once you get around to it. :) We had my mom, sister, and niece's up for dinner this year. It was a fun day all around!!

Danielle with the 4 lucky guys!

Grant giving them their final blessing.

Skippy thought they were pretty cool.

Avery & Danielle "helping"!!

Stuffed after eating a yummy dinner! And some after dinner entertainment by Avery with her new harmonica. :)Photo taken up close and personal by Danielle.

We recently bought a trampoline to fill space in the backyard :) and it's a huge hit!! I haven't been able to jump on it because of the baby but once she's out, I'll be getting my jump on. :) It's so fun & Danielle LOVES it, although she always wants someone to jump on it with her...

Daddy & Danielle jumping on our new trampoline.

I had to put this one in, it's our beloved cat Skippy! Checking out the birds & the neighbors from the playhouse... he even slides down the slide- NO JOKE!
