Christmas Tree Pickin'

Today we faced the wet and soggy weather to pick our tree. It's been a 3 year tradition to have our wonderful friends, Todd & Ashleigh come up and find our trees. So off we went to a local tree farm. We decided to see what was out in the field before picking the perfect one, but in the end we picked a pre-cut one. :) Thanks Todd and Ashleigh for coming up to see us, we miss you so much!!

Slumber party with Avery & Natale

On Friday we went down to Snohomish to have a slumber party with Kim and her family. We played at the park, went to dinner, read books, jumped on the bed, and watched a movie while eating cookies and milk. The next morning we took at road trip to Port Orchard to see our good friends Ralph and Susan. The girls had so much fun playing outside and exploring things along the way. We took the ferry back home and took some great pics while Danielle and Avery chased each other around the deck. Danielle and I had a wonderful time!!

Fun day with Sammie

Last week we had a fun day with Danielle's best friend Sammie and my great friend Annie. We went to the Jump Around to jump but the girls enjoyed the water fountain and the air hockey table more than anything! After naps we went out to Lynden to get some cepia photos taken for a MOPS fundraiser. It was hilarious dressing the girls up in old fashion dresses for pictures. They enjoyed running around after each other rather than the photo shoot. It was a wonderful day filled with lots of laughs!

Happy Halloween!

Hope everyone had a Happy Halloween. We had a fun night with friends. We went to the Crovo's for dinner and afterwards went trick or treating in their neighborhood and got lots of sweet treats!

Yesterday Danielle wore her Halloween costume to play group for some pre Halloween fun! Turns out Danielle's friend Voilet had the same costume. They were so cute together.

Last night we carved our pumpkin. Danielle wanted nothing to do with the guts or helping so she colored while we gutted and carved. Although she was happy to pose with our jack-o-lanten! Now we are ready for trick or treating!!

Birthday Weekend!

Last Friday was my birthday and I had the best birthday weekend! :) We drove down south on Thursday to stay with Nana for the night. We took a trip to Golden Gardens and walked on the beach. Danielle had a blast chasing seagulls and throwing rocks in the water. On Friday we headed down to the Great Wolf Lodge south of Olympia. If any of you have ever considered visiting the Lodge, we highly recommend it! We were there just one night but we had a BLAST!! On Saturday afternoon we drove to GG and Grandpa's house for a birthday party & dinner. It was so nice catching up with my entire family. We arrived home late on Saturday and we wrapped up my birthday weekend with a dinner party at the Crovo's which was so nice and relaxing! Thank you everyone for your birthday wishes. I had a great weekend and I hope this year is full lots of new adventures and happiness!!

After trick or treating we had dinner and then took a bath. Danielle turned into a ballerina. We went down to the clock tower for story time and dancing. She was quite the dancing queen.

After our fun at the Great Wolf, we drove north to my parents house to have dinner. I got my favorite cake, birthday cake remix (thanks Kimmy)! And had a nice time catching up with the fam.
