My sweet girls!

I have to share a few random pictures of my punky & monkey!! I'm so blessed with 2 beautiful healthy girls. I couldn't be more proud of them. And I love them so.

Danielle is the best big sis anyone can ask for. She is helpful (on her terms) and is very protective of her little sis. Its great they are interacting more and more each day. Bath time with the girls is a very special time at our house. D is 4 1/2 already and is going to Kindergarden in the Fall. She told me today that she wants to ride the bus!! This is HUGE since it passes our house every day and every time she sees it she has said she doesn't want to ride it because mom can't ride it with her. :) Danielle has also mastered sleeping in her own bed all night long and falling asleep all by herself! This is another HUGE accomplishment for her. My, not so little, punky girl is very independent, spunky, creative, and has an explosive imagination!! She's my Punky-STAR!

My "one with nature" girl! :)

Sisterly Love?!

Izzy only likes the jump up if Danielle is swinging her and playing with her.

Isabelle- "Izzy" is such a happy, laid back baby. She can entertain herself on the floor with her toys for a long while. She will eat anything we feed her (usually consisting of rice cereal, sweet potatoes, squash, peas, carrots, apples, prunes, black beans, bananas, avocados, puffs....) She is an awesome sleeper and only cries when she wants something. She falls asleep on her own and her crib is her safe, quiet place. Every day she adds to her vocabulary with different sounds, today I swear she said maaa maa! :) She's pretty close to crawling and her favorite part of the day is definitely bath time with her sister. Izzy LOVES seeing family but she absolutely adores her daddy! She is adorable but is growing up way too fast for mommy!!

Playing at the Park

We have been blessed with some decent days lately. Grant was working one Saturday so the girls and I went to a local park to feed the ducks and play. Danielle had a great time chasing the ducks and Isabelle experienced her first swing, which she LOVED!

Danielle taking on, I mean feeding the ducks.

Danielle was so excited to help push her sis on the swing. :)

Telling momma she's diggin' this.

Pretty sure this is her new favorite thing. :)

I LOVE this one... I just want to eat her up!!

Riding the ducky together.

Danielle squeezed her long legs in the swing so she could swing alongside her sis.

Snow days!

We got a good amount of snow in early January. It was a winter wonderland for a couple of days, then it was just plain FREEZING!!

Ready set SNOW!

Merry Christmas!!

Here's this years Santa picture. Pretty adorable if you ask me. But I'm just their momma. :)

This year we hosted Christmas at our house. It was so nice not to have to rush from place to place. Everyone was able to come to our house and it was very relaxing.

The elfs sent an early Christmas present. Matching PJ's... monkey ones of course!

Someone wants something from Santa too.

Santa brought her a pillow pet, just what she asked for!

Izzy got one too!

Izzy LOVED opening her presents.

She LOVES her new 'car'...

...and so does Danielle. :) Thanks Gpa & Gma DeRemer

Warm Beach

We experienced Warm Beach this year and will definitely make it a tradition from here on out. It was a chilly night but we managed to dodge most of the rain. There was so much to see and do! We talked to Bruce the Spruce, went horse back riding, got faces painted, and of course grabbed apple cider donuts before our trek home. It was a wonderful holiday experience!!

Some of the scenery at Warm Beach

This tree was really neat! The picture doesn't do it justice though.

Christmas time in Seattle

We went down to Seattle one weekend in December to take in the Christmas sights. It was pouring with rain and freezing so we didn't cover much. Although we were able to experience Winterfest at the Seattle Center, and the Childrens Museum. We then had dinner with good friends. We spent the night at Nana's and went to feed the reindeer at Swansons Nursery on Sunday morning before heading home.

Curly the camel and Mo the donkey. Very cute pair, so fun to watch!!

Running!?!

So one of my many "new" adventures I want to accomplish is to start running. It's going as good as to be expected but I need to be more consistant at it. On December 11th I ran the Jingle Bell Run (4 mile) in B'ham. It was my first of many fun runs. My goal was to run it under an hour and I finished in 52 minutes!!
Here'a picture of me and two of my girlfriends who ran it too. We made these fancy tutu's! We definitely stuck out from the crowd. :)
