Yesterday Danielle wore her Halloween costume to play group for some pre Halloween fun! Turns out Danielle's friend Voilet had the same costume. They were so cute together.

Last night we carved our pumpkin. Danielle wanted nothing to do with the guts or helping so she colored while we gutted and carved. Although she was happy to pose with our jack-o-lanten! Now we are ready for trick or treating!!

Birthday Weekend!

Last Friday was my birthday and I had the best birthday weekend! :) We drove down south on Thursday to stay with Nana for the night. We took a trip to Golden Gardens and walked on the beach. Danielle had a blast chasing seagulls and throwing rocks in the water. On Friday we headed down to the Great Wolf Lodge south of Olympia. If any of you have ever considered visiting the Lodge, we highly recommend it! We were there just one night but we had a BLAST!! On Saturday afternoon we drove to GG and Grandpa's house for a birthday party & dinner. It was so nice catching up with my entire family. We arrived home late on Saturday and we wrapped up my birthday weekend with a dinner party at the Crovo's which was so nice and relaxing! Thank you everyone for your birthday wishes. I had a great weekend and I hope this year is full lots of new adventures and happiness!!

After trick or treating we had dinner and then took a bath. Danielle turned into a ballerina. We went down to the clock tower for story time and dancing. She was quite the dancing queen.

After our fun at the Great Wolf, we drove north to my parents house to have dinner. I got my favorite cake, birthday cake remix (thanks Kimmy)! And had a nice time catching up with the fam.

The Farm in Snohomish.

Today Danielle and I drove down to Snohomish to catch up with some dear friends and old co-workers. It was so nice to see them and catch up. We went to this neat pumpkin patch called "The Farm". It was a great farm and it was FREE!! Danielle and I rode the tractor train through the corn fields. Danielle also was lucky enough to hold a baby kitten, which she absolutely LOVED, so much so that when it was time to have someone else take a turn at holding the kitten she started crying, she was so sad. I wonder what would happen if we brought home a kitten?!

Apple Pickin' with Sammie

Danielle and I were invited to go apple picking at an orchard out in Ferndale with Sammie and Annie. We had so much fun hunting for the perfect apples and came home with TONS!! And the apples are so yummy!! To our surprise from last year the owners of the orchard have added to their family. They have pet geese and chickens. The girls had fun giggling at the geese as they were chatting at us and squawking really loud. Thanks Sammie and Annie for inviting us out, we had a great time!!

Here are some videos from our trip to the farm and pumpkin patch. Danielle just loves seeing animals and taking it all in. There were goats, a donkey, a pony, horse, cow, turkeys, and chickens.







Here we are on a walk. Danielle usually gets out of the stroller after a while and insists on pushing it. If we try to help even to keep her from going off into a ditch she gets mad.

Stoney Ridge Farm

On Saturday we took Nana to Stoney Ridge Farm to pick our pumpkins. We met our friends Shay, Thad and Hayden there too! We had so much fun picking pumpkins, riding the train, petting the animals and laughing at this really loud & obnoxious cow, sampling apples we picked in the orchard and taking a hayride. We even went through the corn maze which Danielle led while riding on daddy's shoulders. We are looking forward to going back there to pick our perfect tree in a month or so.
